Hamburg – The HanseCom Forum is evolving into the INIT Mobility Forum. The one-and-a-half-day event, which will take place in Hamburg on 26 and 27 November 2026, will retain its unique atmosphere. However, whereas the previous forum was limited to sales-related topics, the operational side is now also on the agenda. In two parallel session tracks, leading experts from the international mobility industry will provide in-depth insights into strategies, digitalization projects, ticketing, operations, depot management, dispatch and planning.
The INIT Mobility Forum builds on the successful tradition of the HanseCom Forum, which has been a must-go event for executives and decision-makers in the mobility industry for eleven years. With the addition of the topic of operational processes, the event is set to become an even more decisive platform for discussing holistic public transport mobility solutions. As usual, participants can look forward to highly informative keynotes and presentations. And, as before, there will be ample time and opportunity for networking and sharing personal experiences.
Based on the theme “Push it: Taking Public Transport to the Next Level!,” the INIT Mobility Forum will address the following topics:
The Forum continues to address an international audience and will be held in both German and English (with simultaneous interpretation provided for each language). Speakers include experts from transport organizations and transport authorities around the world, as well as industry experts from the fields of politics, academia and research.
“Under the new umbrella of the INIT Mobility Forum, we’re taking the former HanseCom Forum to a whole new level by focusing on sales as well as operational strategies in public transport,” emphasizes HanseCom Managing Director Sebastian Neil Hölken. “The new Forum will offer two parallel tracks that allow participants to delve deeply into the topics that interest them most. These will be complemented by joint keynote speeches and inspirational talks that offer exciting insights into current developments. This makes the INIT Mobility Forum the go-to event for anyone interested in innovative and comprehensive strategies related to digitalization, ticketing, operations, depot management, dispatching and planning in public transport.”
The INIT Mobility Forum 2026 will take place from 26 to 27 November 2026 at the Hyperion Hotel in Hamburg, Germany. For more information and to register online, visit www.initmobilityforum.com
