“Right Here, Right Now: Empower the Change!” – HanseCom Forum Invites Participants to Discuss Mobility Transition in Challenging Times

Hamburg, Germany – HanseCom is hosting the 11th HanseCom Forum on 27 and 28 November 2025. Under the motto “Right Here, Right Now: Empower the Change!”, high-profile experts from the international mobility industry will provide insights into their sales strategies, current projects and the latest technologies.

Once a year, the HanseCom Forum – which has become a permanent fixture in the public transport landscape – provides a platform for the exchange of experiences. Participants of the 11th forum can once again expect a varied program with exciting accounts of real-life projects implemented at transport agencies and networking opportunities with experts from the international mobility industry.

This year’s speakers hail from companies and organizations based in the DACH region and abroad. VDV President Ingo Wortmann will set the mood for the panel discussion with a keynote speech on the second day of the conference.

The agenda for the event includes the following topics:

  • Artificial intelligence – possible applications and added value for transit agencies and passengers
  • Account-based ticketing (ABT), mobile ticketing apps, wallets & web portals – simplifying access to public transport
  • Corporate mobility management – using job tickets and mobility budgets to tap into new target groups
  • Mobility platforms and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) – find, book and pay for any mobility offer from a single source
  • Digitizing sales processes – 24/7 customer self-service, central customer data across all sales channels, optimized offers, more satisfied customers and employees
  • Best practices from around the world – get inspired by successful strategies and concepts

The HanseCom Forum will be held in German and English, with simultaneous translation being provided. The event addresses mobility industry decision-makers and managers with a focus on digitalization, marketing, mobility planning, strategy and sales. As usual, the event will focus on the exchange of experiences and creating a dialog. Participants will have ample opportunity for industry discussions and to engage in networking.

“Global uncertainties, the abandonment of agreed climate targets, funding cuts and a shortage of skilled workers: When times are tough across the globe, courageous and visionary decisions for public transport are needed more than ever”, says HanseCom Managing Director Sebastian Neil Hölken. “At the HanseCom Forum, renowned experts from the spheres of transport, business and politics will show how they are consistently and resolutely driving the transition to sustainable mobility forward one step at a time, demonstrating courage, strength and the will to make change happen.”

The HanseCom Forum will take place from 27 to 28 November 2025 at the Hyperion Hotel in Hamburg, Germany. Further information and the online registration form are available at www.hansecomforum.de.
